Verdell R.: That is the Safari server that switches the browser, not MobileMe.
Stefan Gilgen: What is a Safari server?
Verdell R.: Safari is the web browser that is used by the iphone to access the Internet.
Stefan Gilgen: Right, but what is a Safari SERVER?

Verdell R.: Safair is the Internet browser such as firefox, Internet explorer.
Stefan Gilgen: Obviously the mobileMe server realizes that an iPhone with Mobile Safari tries to reach a site on the mobileMe server and decides to serve a different site for this browser. But this site is empty! That’s the problem here.

Verdell R.: This is an issue that would need to be directed to iphone, I do apologise that this may be a frustrating situation in having to contact iphone but this issue is beyond the scope of support for MobileMe, and would need to be handled by iphone.

Verdell R.: Stefan, I am not attempting to be difficult in this matter, but with the information that you have provided this is a problem that our iphone department would be able to assist you with.

Wer in diesen Tagen bei facebook reinschaut wird mit den neuen “privacy settings” begrüsst. Mark Zuckerberg hat mir dazu ja schon vor Tagen einen netten Brief geschrieben (allen andern wohl auch). Es gehe um mehr Sicherheit und bessere Kontrolle der Privatsphäre auf facebook.
Nach dem was dabei herausgekommen ist, geht es mehr um die finanzielle Sicherheit von facebook und die Kontrolle der Privatsphäre via facebook.
So oder ähnlich sieht das Fenster aus, das einen begrüsst. Ziemlich gut gemacht (psychologisch gesehen). Auf den ersten Blick völlig harmlos und einfach so ein lästiger Dialog, den man wegklicken kann. ABER ACHTUNG! Da stehen ziemlich gemeine Sachen drin:
Wenn man einfach “ok” klickt, sind von nun an alle Fotos, Videos, Status Updates, Notizen (einfach alles sozusagen) ÖFFENTLICH
! Also für alle einsehbar! Nicht nur für Facebook-Benutzer sondern auch für den Chef, den zukünftigen Chef, die Ex oder den Lehrer für alle, die Internet können und Google zu benutzen wissen.
Also einfach alles auf alte Einstellungen belassen und dann mal von Hand die Einstellungen machen.
Dann erst mal “Anwendungen und Webseiten” anwählen:
da ist der zweite Punkt interessant: “Was deine Freunde über dich mit anderen teilen können:
Mit der facebook-Standarteinstellung ist alles angewählt. Freunde können mit ihren Anmeldungen bei Programmen und anderen Super-Geschichten so ziemlich alles, was man verhindern möchte, in die Welt hinausposaunen – nicht nur an ihre Freunde, sondern auch an die Unternehmen, die diese coolen Spiele zur Verfügung stellen.
Kurzes Fazit: Vergesst die Standart-Einstellungen, die facebook vorschlägt und geht die Einstellungen wirklich manuell durch!
